HELLO!

Hi, I’m JoAnna. As an artist, my hope is to inspire others by sharing my daily creative practice. I love making quirky, colorful mixed media illustrations with simple shapes, organic patterns, and expressive marks using watercolor, ink, gouache, and anything else that’s handy. I find endless inspiration in nature and in the beauty of everyday objects.

Besides being an art enthusiast, I’m also an organization junkie. Nothing makes me happier than a tidy and efficient art space. I drink hot tea by the bucket; can spend hours lost in a mystery novel; and take countless online classes from my happy place in the rolling hills of northern Maryland.
